About B&M Defense

// Who We Are

Our Story

B&M Defense was founded in 2015 on a simple belief: the warfighter deserves better tools. After over a decade in the defense industry, we have shifted our focus to where the battlefield is heading — unmanned systems, loitering munitions, and counter-drone technology.

Everything we build is done in-house, from the first concept all the way through to fielded hardware. Our loitering munition line, the Angry American series, is developed and manufactured entirely in the United States.

Our Mission

To give military and government partners the tools they need to win. From the Angry American series to our counter-UAS systems, everything we build is reliable, precise, and made to perform when it counts.

Our Capabilities

// What We Build

B&M Defense builds offensive unmanned systems and counter-UAS technology for military and government clients. We handle the full development process, from initial engineering and testing through to ongoing fielded support.

// 01

Loitering Munition Development

The Angry American series — our line of loitering munitions designed for extended on-station time, target acquisition, and precision strikes in complex threat environments. Currently in active development and testing.

// 02

Autonomous Drone Systems

Autonomous and semi-autonomous UAS platforms for ISR, strike, and multi-role missions. Built for rapid deployment and flexible enough to handle a wide range of operational requirements.

// 03

Fibre Optic Drone Systems

Our fibre optic-guided drone platforms reach up to 50km. They are immune to RF jamming and electronic countermeasures, and undetectable by conventional drone detection systems.

// 04

Counter-UAS & Drone Detection

Detection, tracking, and defeat solutions for unmanned aerial threats. Our C-UAS systems identify and neutralize hostile drones across a wide range of environments and threat types.

// 05

Guidance & Navigation Systems

GNC systems including GPS-denied navigation, autonomous target tracking, and terminal homing. Developed entirely in-house so we can stand behind every component.

// 06

Payload Integration

Modular payload architecture that supports EO/IR sensors, warhead integration, electronic warfare packages, and mission-specific configurations.

// 07

Airframe & Propulsion Engineering

Custom airframe and propulsion design built for low acoustic signature, extended range, and survivability in hostile airspace.

// 08

Testing, Evaluation & Support

Full system testing, flight evaluation, and ongoing support in the field. We make sure our platforms perform the way they need to before they ever reach the client.

ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT
40km Up to 40km Range
RF+ Multi-Channel Scan
AV Analog Video Intercept

Eagle X is B&M Defense's dedicated anti-UAS detection system. It actively scans nearby RF channels to locate drone traffic at ranges up to 40km, then locks onto and displays the analog video feed transmitted by the UAS. Designed for analog signal interception — digital FPV systems fall outside its intercept capability, but the majority of threat platforms operating in the field today still rely on analog video.

Eagle X is a vehicle-mounted system and is not designed for individual or dismounted use. Its size and power requirements make it suited for fixed or mobile platform installation.

Passive RF Scanning

Sweeps known drone frequency bands to detect active UAS without emitting a signal. Works against off-the-shelf and commercial FPV platforms.

40km Detection Envelope

Detection coverage up to 40km gives operators early warning and identification well before a threat reaches the protected area.

Analog Video Intercept

Once a drone channel is identified, Eagle X captures and displays the analog video feed from the UAS in real time. Works against the analog-based platforms that make up the majority of current threat UAS in the field.

All specifications, capabilities, and features listed for Eagle X are subject to change at any time without notice. Eagle X is currently under active development.
